At first, reading all these reviews about broken housings or leaking from inlet and outlet areas, I was skeptical about purchasing. However, I love to take risks and like to always try things out myself so I purchased the filters. Let me tell you that I had no leaks and filter housings were brand new with no defects. Filtration, excellent filtration as I use this for my business connected before my DI system to ease the work of my DI Filters. My water is hard and has a TDS of 387PPM and these filters lowered it to 96PPM before the DI filters. That’s incredible being the fact that this is not an RO and usually if filters are not RO or DI, lowering the TDS significantly is not possible. I recommend these filters as it does do some heavy work to save you money by using these as a pre filtration to any setup! Glad I purchased these!

This has a display that shows input and output total dissolved solids (water hardness). From what I have tried I would say it does. If it shows tap water that starts out as 250 TDS outputs as 25 TDS and the distilled water shows output as 8 TDS it is measuring TDS and not just showing a fake display. This reverse osmosis filter recycles the water several times reducing the amount of water lost as waste water. RO water is also a good quality water and is much quicker to make (compared to a distiller). I’ll likely put my water distiller into retirement and even use the water from the RO for my coffee makers. I would buy this again.

Just got installed and turn water on long enough to find out my workmanship was leaking (not the filter system) and instantly showed several good sized brown pieces in the first filter. I expect it to be very comparable to a nuvo h20 at a 20% less of the price. Good pressure and seems to be well made with a metal housing. (I expected it to be plastic from the pics and didn’t read the description properly to check that before buying) I did use pex tubing so I didn’t use the included valves but it was very easy to use a one piece adapter from the screw in female ports on the housing with pex connectors on the other ends.
