Outstanding Filter. Once my son got the o-ring on the right way due to my mistake, it primed up easily and has been working like a charm for 2 weeks. This is a great filter if used properly. Firstly to people buying for 30 gallon or larger tanks, please stop!! This filter is not big enough. Yes technically can do up to 30 gallons, but you really need a 207 or larger. Never run a filter near its max capacity. Now the 07 series filters are great. Very quiet, easy to use, and just work really well, and the fluval warranty is great. I personally use 407 and a 107 on a 65 gallon tank. The 107 I use for a low flow with a surface skimmer setup, and the 407 runs the standard setup. Again quiet. One thing everyone notices is how quiet my tank is, and how clear the water always is. My tank water always tests at zero ammonia, zero nitrite, and nitrate is always at 5ppm or less. My tank is heavily stocked, and these filters along with my choice of media inside, have given me as close to maintenance free as you get. The filters are easy to clean and just work.
